- About me:
- Singing with artists on records was a source of joy since I was a child. Then: the Beatles! I could not get enough of their music and their contemporaries´. When I got a guitar and founded my first band, I was in heaven. We copied the music of our models and composed music of our own.
After having finished high school, I studied Jazz and learnt how to play the piano and some other instruments. For a couple of years, I toured and recorded with various formations.
At age forty, I studied musicology, psychology and American Literature at the University of the Saarland. Being a bad sight-reader, I researched on the subject and wrote a dissertation on it.
In 2004, I met Chris Amrhein and Christian Bollmann, and the world of overtones revealed its wonders. It felt like being home - and it still does. Music, sound and rhythm seem to be a sign of what we really are. Especially overtone music is very strong in this respect, because it leads into silence.
Since then, I have been exploring the world of overtones, and I love to give concerts and courses. I also have been meeting lots of people who I feel in resonance with.

danke für die lieben zeilen! Ja, jetzt kannst du auch was hören, denn ich habe gerade eine live-improvisation mit lothar berger, dieter wienand zu meinem gong hochgeladen. War sehr spannend, denn wir haben in dieser besetzung ja vorher noch nie gearbeitet. Die grenzgänge sind deutlich hör- und spürbar, was mir sehr gefällt, weil sie aufmerksamkeit und freiheit schaffen!

hab grad versucht meine fotos in eine, von mir gewünschte, reihe zu stellen. Das hat erstens nicht ganz geklappt -die slideshow beginnt jetzt mit dem letzten bild- und zweitens habe ich zu spät gesehen, daß du mir was zu den fotos geschrieben hast, was aber nun nach dem erneuten hochladen nicht mehr vorhanden ist und ich inhaltlich nicht mehr erfassen kann. Vielleicht hast du lust es nochmal zu schreiben...??!
Habe übrigens auch deine anderen titel sehr genossen!!!

"Dieudonne Trance" ist was für mich, als Percussionist.
Die Nr. ist neu? Und dazu noch Coco 2, ein Groove aus dem brasilianischen Foro, nur die 26" Basszabumba. Tolles Ding, die anderen 2 natürlich auch. Schamanismus und Hypnose.
